Michelle Clausz and Morgan Gabel, hosts.

Snow date and venue if needed: Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Indian Crest Middle School.

Elementary Band Fest:

Thursday, March 27, 2025 at Harry S. Truman HS, Bristol Township SD;
Chris Gerhart and David Kramer, hosts.

Who is eligible to participate in Fests?

Elementary School Level Fests: 5th and 6th grade students.

Middle/Junior High School Level Fests: 7th and 8th grade students; 9th grade students may participate if they did not participate in District 11 orchestra.

PMEA Membership Required

Students who take part in music festivals need sponsorship from current PMEA member teachers at a school. Festival hosts must confirm membership of all participating teachers. To have your students join festivals, ensure your PMEA membership is up-to-date.

Elementary Songfest (Grades 4-6) will be hosted by Tyler Gibson at Springfield Township High School (Montgomery County) on April 10, 2025, as a 1-day fest with a concert at 7:00pm.  The guest director will be Kendra Balmer from Temple’s Boyer College of Music and Dance.

Junior High Songfest (Grades 7-9) will be hosted by Amy Venkus at Colonial Middle School (Plymouth Whitemarsh SD) on April 8, 2025 as a 1 day fest with a concert at 7:00pm.  The guest Director will be Arreon Harley-Emerson, conductor of the Brooklyn Youth Chorus and CEO/Artistic Director of Elevate Vocal Arts.
